Great listening skills on your field trip, girls. Isn't it amazing that she will have to swim as far as Tonga to lay her eggs?! I wonder if any of her babies will come back to Lake Ellesmere or if they will find another place to live??
This was an interesting report, and I learnt some things about eels that I hadn't known. Why did the eel have to be released to the sea - could it not get there by itself? Do lots of eels need this help?
