Schools have been told by the Ministry of Education that we must stay closed for the rest of the week.

Rain

The rain is falling and I am sitting inside writing about the rain. An open window lets a cool breeze into the class room as the teacher tells us what to do.

I love the feeling of rain falling on my head, dripping off the trees, running down my neck. When the rain is falling fast, I have to stay inside but I feel like going outside.

I sit here watching the raindrops having races down the window pane.It’s like they’re scared of something and they have to escape.

My Special Place

This is the special place I have at school. I like this place because I like to climb trees. I wish there were more trees.

My favourite place in the school

This is my favourite place because I love the library and reading all the great books that the librarian gives us.

The place I want to change

This is the place I want to change because I fell off the flying fox and broke my arm.
I want this to be replaced with some thing else because the flying fox has hurt lot's of people.

Students Keen to Learn

A bunch of Year 5/6 students were so keen to start school they were seen scaling Springston Schools new carpark gate. The new fencing being placed around the school is helping to keep the children safe, but these students were so keen to get inside they didn't wait to open the gate.

New year, new class, new teacher

Well it's great to be back and starting a new year at Springston School.

Team Enterprise has a new group of children and a new teacher.
