Making Connections

At the end of this term we tried to write interesting stories about people who are connected to our lives. Many of the class chose to write about their Grandparents.

Here are two stories from Zarah and Claudia

The Fox and the Grapes

Here is another Aesop Fable.

Zarah and Claudia's Agora

For our inquiry we investigated the Greek market called the Agora.

Maths Week

Last week we put together some maths images from around the school to practice different ways we could put movies together. We found this lots of fun and we will be trying to make other movies over the next few weeks.

Encouraging our birds!

Claudia, Heather and Fran have been busy with their inquiry this term. They have made this video to show what they have done to make a difference to the birds that live outside our classroom windows.

The girls want to attract more birds to this area. They have visited an expert to get ideas of what sorts of things need to be planted to encourage the birds to move in. They have some plants and now they are going to finish clearing the area and plant the new plants under the tree canopy.

Our Alphabet Animal Alliterations

We have been making alliterations for our Alphabet Animal Book. Here are some that have finished their page. We have been trying hard with our presentation skills.
